How to Activate Windows XP Without a Genuine Product Key

Use this special key to activate/validate your windows xp on 1st time you install the windows( it results on XP professional portuguese version but i dont tested it on the others xp versions or languages) :

THMPV-77D6F-94376-8HGKG-VRDRQ .

Now you can make updates using this key.

If you already have activate/validate your xp and you can t make updates you have 2 solutions:
1- use the software keyfinder and replace/change your key by this one
2- or make it manualy by this way:
Learn how to validate your Windows XP as the original without installing anything. In this tutorial I will show below how to effectively validate your Windows XP without spending if you want a real, just a few minutes. I also ask those who may have some doubt that we give it a read this entry because it has many important information.
1. Go to Start> Run

2. Type regedit and click OK.

3. Inside the regedit, navigate to the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Cu rrentVersion\ WPAEvents

4. In the right pane, click two times in OOBETimer

5. In the window that was open, delete any value and click OK. Close
regedit

6. Go back to Start> Run and type this instead:
%Systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a

7. In the window that was open, choose Yes, I would call ...

8. The next step, click the Change key product.

9. In the next step, enter the CD-Key:

THMPV-77D6F-94376-8HGKG-VRDRQ

and click Update

10. After clicking the Update button, the activation wizard will return to the previous window, then click Remind me later and restart Windows.

11. Restart Windows, go again to Start> Run and type:
%Systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a

If your windows not having the folder msoobe, download it (use google to get it)

After this, take care with the updates you chose (don t make them automatic way), because between them exist one that makes apear a pop up (windows genuine advantage - KB905474) every time you restart your pc. It don t do nothing only annoying and you can still have updates. If you have already install it by mistake you have 2 options:

1- Make cancel on pop up eveytime it apears
2- Or, find a way on google to remove it (take care because you can t have more updates after that).
3-Someone presents this solution not tested for me:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At this point i had two options:
1-Right click the WGA tray icon, and select “change notification settings”, then select “Don’t notify me again”, and “Yes I know this voids me from product support”
2-Stop or delete the whole WGA tool

Well, needless to say i opted for the second choice and here’s what i did

Start > Run > regedit > go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify > delete the WGALOGON folder and restart

After restarting everything returned to normal and i’m happy to announce that i’m back downloading updates
